Another reason why we may need multipurpose transitional shelters?
It is just heart breaking to see the continuous lava disasters in Big island.
Many people are already in shelters; some of them, who lost their homes and don’t have insurance, may become homeless.
Now, society as a whole, we may need to plan for long term, not to mention how to accomodate those who lost homes and/or likely become homeless.
I hope Gov. Ige sees the big picture; and carefully plans for the future (as well as current) issues surrounding the lava disasters.
