Yes, it is good to have a single payer (Mr. Bernie Sanders’ plan).
But, we need to make sure and have more vetting process before implementing it, because there is going to be no competition and higher chance of corruption possibilities…!
(Once corruption happens it may be harder to correct…)
How about a hybrid, which would reduce the number of payers to 2-3 for the time being, until all possible vetting process is completed?
