Legalization of Cannabis

Legalization of Cannabis and a balanced thinking.
I am neutral on legalization of Cannabis: I am not against it.
One reason; there is a growing trend of the legalization; and I am thinking of positive side (effect) as well.
And it may also be Hawaii democratic party’s agenda.
[If can, I want to be in line with their agenda, as much as possible (since I am a democrat); but I don’t want to deviate much from their-our fundamental principle. Note: I may not agree with them either, especially if I feel they may be deviated from our-their fundamental principle.]
However, I am against it, because its harmful effect, e.g. increased chance of psychosis, especially among young people, (not to mention other negative effects).
But, as long as we implement other protective measures, I will support the legalization. (Among other things,)
1. Up to 25%, 250,000? people, (although more research may be necessary for correct estimate), may be suffering from substance abuse. So, at the same time, we may need to implement such bills or measures e.g. to promote general population’s mental and emotional health. Very important…!
2. Police may need to equip tools, and enforce DUI (Cannabis) more effectively.
3. Educate and Promote young adult to avoid cannabis, e.g. due to its harmful effect, especially on brain growth, impairment, etc.
4. Implement a law, setting a legal age for its usage; (may be higher than that in alcohol?…)
5. Find a way to better enforce those laws and/or measures.
Aloha.

All Mail-in Voting?

All Mail-in Voting?
Then, All Online Campaign? (Abolish Street Signs and Campaigns…!)
Reason: (Among other things),
1. Save money;
2. Less lawful and unlawful but unfair money, flowing into candidates;
3. Less association with wrong people, e.g. special interest groups (including Media);
4. Then (after election), elected officials can make better decision and sound judgment, without much influence from the special interest groups.
Running government may not be that difficult if we practice a COMMON SENSE…!
Aloha.
Note: How can we reduce possibility of having more corruptions from happening? Why do the elected officials refuse to use a common sense?
Because, for example, they may need to fulfill their obligations for the special interest groups. Simple Logic.
Hawaii Reform..!
